You're welcome! I love it when people draw lesser-known characters.

I don't understand her mutant power :<. The description just makes it hard to understand how to visualise it, what does she actually do?

If a person is a regular human-being with no powers, but possesses dormant mutant genes (the potential to be a mutant) Sage can make them an actual mutant.
First she analyses and catalogues their DNA (she's a super-analyst) then she makes the proper changes to them.
Visually, her eyes glow with light-blue electricity, which she charges her subjects' bodies with.
Also, she can analyse anything, anytime, without having to jumpstart latent mutants.

That power seems so unoffensive :<.
Psychic powers are better than that, Xavier and Jean can actually fight with their powers. But I can't see a way to fight with those :<, her powers are so boring.
Her looks should be more of a librarian type lol, since she's super smart .

In my opinion her power is awesome. I don't think that every character should be able to fire lightning bolts and rays from their hands and heads. It would be boring. Sage does things that the others can't.
As for offensive, she can use her analytic abilities to device scenarios and strategies, as well as anticipates her opponents' movements in hand to hand combat. She also carries weapons.
I think that having a character who is a "living library" of sort, dress like a librarian would be a little clichΓ©. It would be like making Archangel dress up in sandals, a white robe, and a prop halo.

Wow, really great picture. I love the pose you've got her in, and the clothing is amazing. I've just got one quibble, and that is with her nationality. Sage is an Afghani who moved to America with Xavier's help.

Thanks you!
- Claremont said that Sage is Greek/Welsh, it has not yet been revealed how she came to be in Afghanistan or why she was there. Hopefully Chris will get around to it eventually..

I didn't realise he'd said that. Do you know where and is there a link? I was going by what I'd read in the comics.

He said it in various places, most of those posts are probably gone by now, this is still online:

I'd love Claremont to reveal more of Tessa's past in the books.

Indeed. Thanks for that. I'd always thought that since she was out in Afghanistan as a freedom fighter and only in her early teens then that she'd been born out there. The things you learn.
I too hope he reveals more of her past, she's one of my fave X-Men characters. Maybe in New eXiles.
