Yet another possible reason for Urien Rakarth to potentially throw in his lot with Nurgle is to shield himself from the effects of The Thirst, which affects Haemonculi Ancients particularly badly. Haemonculi are of course hellishly vengeful and it would be a crowning achievement for Nurgle-worshipping Haemonculi to arrange for Slaanesh to be dragged off to Nurgle's lair, dissected with scalpals coated with Grandfather's own pus and feces, then dumped into Nurgle's cauldron-- and make nurglings out of the rescued Eldar souls.

I wonder whether or not Urien Rakarth and other haemonculi would throw in their lot with Grandfather Nurgle now that they know the Ynnari could kill them off for good. After all, Nurgle runs the biggest biowarfare/torture lab in the multiverse and is keeping the Eldar Mother Goddess no less as his guinea pig. In addition, many top haemonculi including Rakarth greatly enjoy dying interesting (i.e. incredibly painful) deaths and then getting resurrected-something that Nurgle would be very happy to offer, provided its death by pathogen and/or parasite. As for the pain caused by Nurgle's illnesses, even Mortarion, the toughest and most resilient primarch was left begging for death once.
