it really messed me up that like, in season one almost every digimon just straight up died in the last few bits and like, theres this bit about the digimon world starting over and everyone who died being reborn as eggs and stuff but like, wizardmon just doesnt i guess. hes an actual literal ghost in season two and then he floats away through a window to avoid making things more awkward with tailmon. like.......... why didnt wizardmon get reborn why did he turn into An Actual Ghost??? im not saying being reborn is better or anything but what was the deal there

Well not all digimon get reborn, like the ones who were killed by the Gizumons and the D-Reaper Agents. And there are other cases of such too.

And plus, I still found what happened to Kouichi, and what happened to Jeri, to be way worse than Wizardmon, but still Wizardmon was quite tragic.
