I love these memes! Have you noticed? All the old drawings we did as kids never have shoulders? They are all headshots (well, like 90%)

Oh my gosh! This is so inspirational!
How did you improve so much?? Would you mind telling me what you did? Like, what kind of things you did in order to improve? ;u; I'd love to be like you~

Ahh thank you so much! ♥
Actually, I didn't do anything um... special in order to improve o//u//o
I just draw a lot- in my free time, before sleep, during lessons ehehe. I think trying many mediums improved my skills a bit. I was playing with watercolors, colored pencils, digital art, oil pastels etc.
oooh and trying many styles! like one day I drew something in my favourite mangaka's style, then next day I mixed it with other artist's style and added something from me. And this kind of mixing helped me to find my own style
and using references! when I didn't know how to draw something, I simply looked for it in google, and... drew from photo. It may seem a bit unprofessional, but everyone has to start somewhere Same thing goes for anatomy- pose references are your ally
After a while you won't need them anymore.
I think the main "secret ingredient" is being happy while drawing. You won't improve if you're forced to draw. Be sure that you simply... want this >u<
please excuse my poor English x(
