Description
And here is my super late participation in the Malis TLK . My computer malfunctioned towards the end of the process and that discouraged me a little. But, it was so much fun to do that I decided to post it anyway and I'll update when I can finish.

I plan to use this style to introduce others of my characters in the future. I wrote a summary (believe it is a summary) of their stories if you want to know about my headcanon.
If not, I hope you enjoyed the drawing.

🔹URU🔹

I changed the design of Uru and Ahadi again. Now she has the same red hue as Scar, I just removed almost all the saturation and darkened it so that she looked like an exile. I gave Scar's dull eyes, but the color red and the muzzle is Mufasa.

A stranger, Uru is the daughter of leader Zamur, the weakest of her pride. She grew up afraid of being killed by the strongest leaders, which made her mature at an early age. When these leaders died prematurely, their father took his group to invade Pridelands in search of shelter and Mohatu, out of pity, decides to allow the group to stay until their young grow up, as long as they stay away from the priderock and obey their laws.
Uru dedicated his youth to become a great hunter and warrior. And when she and her "brothers" were old enough, Zamur offered his hand to one of Mohatu's sons, uniting the groups and avoiding exile.

As predicted, Ahadi and Uru detested the parents' plan (even if it was more of an incentive than an obligation). Luckily, they fell in love and had two children: Mufasa and Askari.
As a mother, Uru was loving, but she never hesitated to berate her children about anything she disliked about them. Unfortunately, she was often absent taking care of the kingdom and while Mufasa was with her father, Askari was adrift with her uncles and grandparents, who were terrible influences. Her lesser contact with Mufasa also meant that she only had time to rebuke her youngest son's mistakes, which made it seem that she liked the firstborn more, which was not true.

🔸AHADI🔸

I am in love with this version of Ahadi, although I still have difficulty making your mane. I used this reference image

Firstborn of King Mohatu and Queen Malia, Ahadi faithfully followed his father's teachings, but he was always very inclined towards his mother's thinking: that he was superior to all and should be treated as such.
When Uru and Ahadi meet, he tries to impose his superiority on her and soon realizes that unlike the other lionesses interested in the chance to be queen, Uru was really furious at having to marry a "spoiled brat".
After much patience from Mohatu to resolve it peacefully, Ahadi ends up becoming less self-centered and creates a friendship with Uru. Able now to see the best in each other, they fall in love and have two children.

Ahadi became known as a very wise king, despite not being as patient as Mohatu was. As a father, he was firm in teaching Mufasa everything he knew and ended up failing the youngest. Too busy, Ahadi only dedicated himself to Askari / Scar when he was tired and almost never paid attention to his son's idiosyncrasy. I wish he had noticed the problem when he was little, before he got big.

🔹MHEETU🔹

Sarafina's youngest with Jicho , he was born just before his father died from a health problem caused by Scar's roar. And he was still small when Mufasa and "Simba" died, but he has a brief memory of them reinforced by his family.

He grew up in Scar's reign and was one of the few friends of her children, Mtoto and Najma . He became a kind and very strong young man, which caused many hyenas to avoid challenging him, in addition to the fact that he and Najma were getting closer and closer, which made him a symbol of hope. After all, if he married her, he would be king and would certainly restore Mufasa's legacy. Infuriated by this possibility, Scar promised Najma to the son of his faithful follower Zira and expelled all the other boys from the kingdom. Tired of her father's tyranny, Najma convinced his brother and the younger lionesses to abandon Pridelands and together with Mheetu and the others they founded a kingdom to the east that aimed to maintain the traditions that Pridelands lost. Mheetu and Najma became praiseworthy kings and resumed contact with Simba and Nala after the fall of Scar.

🔸KOPA🔸

Firstborn, Kopa was a curious cub who loved to venture out with his best friends: Afua and a small hyena named Asante. However, he was also easily influenced.
One day, they befriended a cheetah named Hiuhu, an outsider who liked to ignore the cycle of life. Something that didn't last, because when Simba found out, he expelled Hiuhu and forbade her friendship with Asante, explaining the problem that hyenas could bring. Something that just made the prince start to question his father's attitudes.

As a teenager, Kopa became even more adept at his friend's way of thinking, breaking several rules. The last time was when they hunted for sport, resulting in Afua's exile.
The prince questioned his father about the exaggerated penalty, as he was not exiled even though he did the same. When Simba said that he would not exile him for being his son, Kopa shouted his hypocrisy to all, resigned the throne and ran away with his friend.

For a long time they lived by invading territories and seducing lionesses to hunt for them. It all ended when they visited the kingdom of Kopa's uncle, where Afua found a partnership and decided to stay there. Now, alone, Mheetu advised him to visit his parents and, contrary to what he expected, he was very well received.

He did not become king. But, as he had acquired a lot of knowledge during his youth, he went on to help Kiara and the guard with the problems of the kingdom, becoming the main advisor alongside Tiifu and Zuri.
Later Kopa and Vitani developed a relationship and had a daughter named Kesi.

🔹AFUA🔹

(I imagine him sarcastic and seductive)
Tojo's son with one of Zira's followers. He lost contact with his mother after she was exiled by Simba, which caused him to create an aversion to the king's rules.
Even so, Afua became Kopa's best friend, at least until he met Hiuhu, a cheetah who lived in Pridelands for a short time. The cub started spending its afternoons creating confusion with the cheetah, listening to their stories about "wild lions" who lived outside that kingdom and how they acted.
As a teenager, he was exiled and to his surprise, Kopa resigned from the throne and ran away with him aimlessly, seeking only discovery and fun.

One day, as an adult, Afua found a childhood friend, whom he fell in love with and stay in the kingdom she lived in, which almost killed his friendship with Kopa. But, they ended up understanding each other.
Sometime later Afua would visit the prince followed by his 4 mischievous daughters, who in his words "were making him pay for all his sins".

🔸KOVU / KIARA SON🔸

I changed Chaka's design too, wanting to make all Kiara's puppies look more like Kovu, just like all Nala's kids look more like Simba. I just didn't give him green eyes because I already has a lot of light-eyed characters.
I still don't have a definitive story for him. But, the basics are:

Chaka is curious and loves to learn new things, always venturing into the kingdom, which made him argue a lot with his younger sister Shani, who after suffering a major trauma involving outsiders lions, became overprotective with him and his other sister.
He sees the responsibility of taking care of a kingdom as a great martyrdom and does not want to be king, but he feels pressured by his parents to follow the tradition, mainly by Kovu, making them have a very troubled relationship.
His dream is to find a way to renounce the throne and "get to know the world" as his uncle Kopa did at his age, but without cutting ties with his family that he really loves.
