Oh yes-s-s-s, returning back to protoss, that feels so good.Syn for and some beasts from the Void, whom, if i'm not mistaken, Syn can summon and control. I wasn't able to find any information about them, so their design is just figment of my imagination.
And i also want to mention a pair of songs, that stuck in my head and playlist, while i was drawing this picture:
