Yes, there used to be those book covers and illustrations - black ink plus one or two flat colors...
Actually this is the only style in which I can draw something from start to finish in Photoshop.
(And ouch, Tima's elbow is one big anatomy fail)

This is so perfect. The flat colors, and the choices in said colors, work great. It looks like it could be an old cover.
