Description
Been banging my head against Photoshop for the better part of the last two hours in attempts to color this, apply a glow image to my desired white space and ultimately have a negative space effect. Then remove the lines so it's just color.

After cruising the DA tutorials, this trick is apparently easy to acheive with a tablet (do lineart layer, color, delete background and lineart layer, PRESTO!), but I'm a broke and beginning artist who does not have such impressive things, so I'm wearing the hell out of my mouse and mousepad.

It's okay as it is, but I have so much more to do with it. Wanted to put it up and walk away. Take a few deep breaths and eat (haven't yet all day; ulp, bad Nanashi). Any ideas are greatly welcomed.
