This is perfect imo. What I mean is that it looks good and is successful in endowing me with an impression of the subject matter - a wise old man curiously in the act of discovery while holding a clock indicative of his age and wisdom. The color palette is purposeful and consistent, the style is well executed.

Perhaps on that last note then I would merely say that the style is somewhat expected considering the subject matter of wizards and sages. It doesn't hurt it as a result, but it doesn't necessarily allow the piece to transcend into something "new" for the viewer and/or audience. I believe art has to constantly evolve and take on new forms if we wish for it to be successful from a contemporary perspective.

Anyways! It's a good piece, keep it up!

I first tought that's Cronos,Greek God of Time,but he looks like a mere Chronomancer.
