1. Do yyou recomend it/ is it amazing ?
2. im guessing so by the photo but ddoes it have macro capabilities.

The D40 is awesome. For a not-so-expensive SLR it's reeeeally nice, especially on the RAW settings. It does do macro, but you'll need a macro lens (nikkor or tamron should do it). Overall, it's a great piece of equipment.
