Description
This is the first wire wrapped necklace I have made. It is made with copper wire and irridescent flattened marbles. I love the color and the combination I find it quite soothing. It hangs on a satin cord with an adjustable knot closure. See the Matching BraceletRelated content

Thanks It was one of the first wire wrap pieces I ever did. Unfortunately I haven't had time to make many since.

Thank you so much. Really easy actually. I may do a tut one of these days when I can find one of those rare 'round tuits' you are familiar with the 'round tuit' aren't you?

lol the 'round tuit' has nothing to do with wire. Its a yolk man... you know when you say you'll do something when you get a round to it... well someone way back thought that was cute and started making little round objects and potholders and various round things that had 'Round Tuit' on them so you could 'Get a Round Tuit'.... Get it.... lol..... he he he.....

Thanks. It was pretty straight forward really. Instead of simply curling the wire ends down at the top I used them to capture the additional glass cabs. Other than that it is a pretty simple design.

Is this a trick question? Victorian Fantasy in wire is only the 5th thing I've wire wrapped. I've worked with wire and tools for other things for a very long time just not done wire jewelry type things.

The wirework looks truly excellent and organic, as if the wires had melted and molded themselves over the marbles, then hardened again...

That is amazing. I'm not sure if I would wrap such a piece and I'm wrapping wire for some time now.
Great skills. That's for sure.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I hope you'll check back from time to time. I have more wire in the works. Had a look at yours and it is very nice too. Bit different styles but that is what makes things interesting I think. Keep on a wrapping
