I'm trying to bust my way out of art-block. I was feeling adventurous and tried purely painting and went with a vertical composition for the first time in I think ever. It’s weird. Clouds are fun to draw paint.

Love it, NC! It looks so different from your recent work--it's got a real sense of longing and searching. The vertical shape draws the eye upward toward the sky and stars, where Twilight is looking & has her telescope pointed. Simply beautiful.
