Fffflol. So I only discovered Hanna is Not a Boy's Name about a week ago, but it was pretty much insta-laaaahv 'cause just FFFFFF. The characters are so cool.AND SO...uh...I made a Conbat. IDK. o3o My first plushie~
Found it really difficult to get a decent shot of him, but the OHOHORAINBOWCOUCH won out.
His abdomen's about 8-9 inches tall (no ruler on hand, so I'm guessing!) but his wingspan is prolly close to 2.5 feet wide since I did more realistic wings. I'm tempted to test out a chibi-wing version too, though.
And it's SO tempting to make the others vampires in the comic too. Ololololvampireparty.

im gonna have to make finas particularly beacuse of a cosplay i was woundering if youd help me out with some pointers as ive never made a stuffed bat before..

Unfortunately I'm not really sure what to tell you that wouldn't be very longwinded and needlessly complicated! But, uh. I will say that felt was a really good material to use, since the ears can be single pieces of material and not look sloppy, and was also nice 'cause it's such a thick material that it gave the wings a cool bevelled effect even though there's no cotton in between them--it's just two peices of felt sewn together.

Metal? Sounds difficult! Something that just occurred to me though, if you're trying to make hinged/boned wings, is you can look up some Toothless [from How to Train Your Dragon] plushies, since a rather large number of people are making them right now, and I KNOW I've seen some with hinged wings. 8D

...My grandmother's closet. 8D I used materials I already had on hand. The body is a brown felt, and the black material is a jeans-like material [don't know it's official name]. Both can be found at any place that carries fabric/sewing supplies. c:
