That's very cat-and-dog like of them. If our Corgi chews something up (some chalk, a dollar, a chew toy) she puts herself in the corner and won't look us in the eye. She has a very guilty face and says "I am so sorry. I did a terrible thing. I will go away now and it is okay if you do not love me anymore. I do not even deserve to live in the house. I am a disgrace to all dogkind." Of course she's never done anything very bad and she doesn't get in trouble or anything, but she has such the cute guilty face when she thinks she's done the bad thing! Corgis are so funny.

Oh, Ziggy is like that too... you know when he's peed in the house when he slinks away and tries to be inconspicuous with the guiltiest look ever. Β He's an old man... 14 years old, so bladder problems happen...Β

I've looked at this photo every day since I found it. It just cracks me up. Would it be okay if I sent a copy of it in an email to my mother? She'd get a kick out of it! I'll quote you as the artist, of course, and I'll send you a copy of the email too, if you'd like.
Hope that doesn't come across as over-the-top, but I like to check with the artist before I do ANYTHING with their work other an adore it!

Wonderful! I'll let you know what she says! I think she'll crack up, she loves anything to do with Corgis.

Heh, this is adorable! So much personality in those faces and poses! =3
In my house, the reverse happened. Our old chihuahua was jumping around, trying to get my attention, and led me out to where the only cat we had at the time, Mimi, had just thrown up. The impression I got was that he was tattling on her. XD

Lol! They're like rotten children, aren't they? They always try to blame the other and then act as if they are innocent.

This is in essence Trinity- I say that because she has 3 legs so she can't just point an accusing claw at the dog. Instead she points an accusing stump.

Ziggy does that as a pity bargain tool. He will lift his paw as if he's suddenly injured if you're mad at him or upset with him but sometimes he forgets which paw he 'hurt' and lifts the other or as soon as the peanut butter biscuits come out he is miraculously better as if the thought of biscuits is enough to heal the most pathetic injury. He's totally a fake when he thinks he's in trouble.
