Yup, the concept is a Prussia with less heavy influence from the Hansa (from where comes the red) and a greater influence from someone else (whom I've forgotten now

I've changed the history since that one was made; now, the other flag was in use only in the short time between the collapse of the HRE and the revolution that formed the modern Commonwealth, when there was a centralised monarchy in place

Well kind of, the old French flag was either a confusing white sheet or one covered in lilies rather that just the simple Tricolour, and the New Canadian Flag is much simpler than the good one.
