Since his description says he's good at poetry wouldn't it make more sense for his minor skill to be speechcraft rather than destruction?

Yeah. I like to make their stats based on character. For example I've always played a woodelf because I'm short and they're good at archery. Also apparently they're cannon cannibals though so I don't know how I feel about that.
