I managed to get the chance to watch it again tonight and I believe you're right. I did indeed see that there were separate kid actors though they look different on such a minute level I do also believe you're right in Nolan trying to cause the audience to believe that he didn't escape. Upon first acknowledgement that the children are older their clothing differences are so subtle that it looks almost like the grandmother is negligent on buying her grandchildren clothes! Bad grandmother, bad! X3
Anyway, I never immediately went to the thought that the "whole thing" was unreal as there was solid evidence and information to the base of the story which created the reality of the film. The film in itself will set a "reality" for the viewer. I do believe this whole film was conceived by another person very much like me. I've dreamed nearly every day of my life and remembered at least parts of it, the few nights that I did not dream I felt like I hadn't slept at all. I can identify with the dreamers in this movie very much. On a personal note, I'd much rather have nightmares (which I also had for a good portion of my life) than not dream at all.
While I am unlikely to buy this book or go see it 5-6 times in IMAX X3 I don't see anything to contest in your comments here. :3

No, I wanted to. I'm in the middle of no where for personal reasons. There were four people in the theatre including me. One couple came up to us and asked in a thick southern accent, "Did you understand a thing that was going on there?" (internal facepalm)

@lovinghatredoxy, that was confusing, but it is actually eames' dream, but as the subject fischer populates every dream level with his subconscious (the people are his projections and the contents of the safe are from his mind too) that line about how fischer was going to help them break into his own subconscious meant that since he was tricked into thinking he was going into browning's mind rather than eames', he would help fight through the projections and break into the big safe with them, not knowing the projections were his own subconscious trying to protect him and the safe contained the idea he'd been incepted with.

Made a few adjustments... was a bit hesitant about introducing a bold new colour but I think the red works alright. It provides a visual link between the title and the marker for where inception takes hold at least, which means I don't need to add another notation.

I've always loved these things, but I feel like sometimes these infographics make the movie even more difficult to follow...
I do like how this seems to question the ending though. It offers both camps of thought. Loved the movie, love how this looks!

This is definitely one of the best (& accurate!) infographics for the film. I just have a couple suggestions if you're open to revising it at all:
Fischer is referred to as "The Mark" instead of "The Target".
Saito is referred to as "The Tourist" instead of "The Overseer".
Finally, there is no indication where the Inception "takes hold" in Fischer. I think that is cool/important to see.
