Neiyoko's ref sheet. I made mainly so theres one for people to see and to RP with her. Mostly TMNT but I might end up writing another AU where it more original than fan base XD

Bio:
It all started with a Genetic Professor and a Cryptozoologist. Professor Nodin Datania was traveling in the Asian countries when he met his future wife Istle. She was there studying the Red Panda's when she took a cub that had became an orphan. Nodin and Istle hit it off real well and when they return to the U.S they married. Istle didn't give up her profession but didn't leave the States either. Nodin continued his work on Genetics and natural mutations. His assistant, Jason Forgo, was more serious about the research and started to attempt to create a formula to trigger mutations. Forgo tricked Nodin in helping him and when he was found out Nodin kicked him from the project. At first Nodin wanted to get rid of it, fearing the backlash from his colleges. When he found out that Istle could have any children, he reconsidered the formula and brought Forgo back to finish it. The time to test it came and Forgo wanted to test is on some animals but the only animal they had was the Red Panda cub. Nodin told Forgo no since Istle was already treating it like her own child, reading to it and talking to it. With out their knowledge, Forgo tested it on the cub making it very sick. It was then Nodin took the formula seriously. Looking through it he saw what might be the answer, introducing new dna to trigger positive reaction. Quickly he took dna from himself and Istle mixing it into the formula. His goal was not to mutate the cub but save it and he did. Is slowly recovered but as time went by small things started happening. It slowly started to respond like a child and its body was starting to change. By the time it hit one, the cub was acting and looked like a toddler. The couple embraced this and named their new daughter Neiyoko.

As Neiyoko grew she became her own individual. Her interests focused on herbs and natural medicines along with some leather working. As she grew she learned more about her mother and how she wasn't just a Cryptozoologist. Istle was part of an ancient and dying ninja clan from Japan. Her mother taught her as much as she could for ten years. Istle passed from cancer close to Neiyoko's 15th birthday. Neiyoko took it pretty hard since Istle was always home with her. In a way she still feels her mother with her and guiding her. A few months after Istles death, Forgo started to harass Nodin over Neiyoko. Claiming that Nodin kept the secret from him. Eventually Nodin disappeared, his office in ruin and no trace of him anywhere. This forced Neiyoko to start running, following this pull as if it was her mother leading her away. She still has access to the hidden account that her parents set up for her for when she got older, uses it more to get food. Neiyoko now resides in New York in a train junk yard using one of the cars as shelter.

Clan/Weapon:

Neiyoko's Ninja clan is a clan that is known and yet not known. It's a very secretive and flighty clan that just doesn't trust anyone at a whim. It's called the Clan of the Kirin, followers of the ancient beast that made their clan possible. They believe that Tai, a poor farmer, sought the Kirin out and once he found it bowed. He apologized for his intrusion on the beast and explained himself. His family was starving and he had no way of feeding them. The man pleaded for the Kirin to grant him his wish of just being able to provide for his loved ones. The Kirin, listening to his words was touched. Most travelers wanted riches just to be rich or strength to crush their enemies but this man just wanted to live. With this the Kirin said he'd grant him this wish and it did. Tai went home and later found himself hosting for a traveler that wandered into his farm. He then discovered that the man was a ninjutsu master. As a way to repay Tai for his kindness, the traveler taught Tai everything he knew. From that day on Tai's life changed and he began to make enough money to help his family and soon others started to follow him. It wasn't until one day he heard something from the forest. Rushing in with a few of his followers, Tai headed straight to the Kirin. He found it broken and bleeding with a samurai standing over it furious. The Kirin refused his wish and payed for it. Tai quickly had his men fan out and ready to strike. The fight was short and no other life was taken since they push the mad man back, forcing him to retreat. He then went to the Kirin, it was dying and there was nothing he could do. It then spoke its last words to him, asking him to grant it its own wish. The request caught Tai off guard, making him not sure if he could do it. The Kirin wanted Tai to takes hide and bones to make a weapon. A weapon that do the duty of the Kirin. To protect the weak and pure, bu punish the wicked. It then died in front of Tai and his followers. At first he wasn't sure if he could carry it out but then all doubt left him and he took out his blade. He exclaimed with the knife in hand, 'Let is be known from this day on that we are the Clan of the Kirin. We shall carry out its wish and its duty.' he then started to take the Kirin's hide. The weapon was forged from the hide and bones preserving the magic the Kirin had. The blade won't harm the good and innocent but will cut through the evil that stood infront of it. Neiyoko knows the story of the weapon, the Kirin Blade, a naginata. However, she doesn't know which weapon it is. Her mother had a naginata that had a Kirin sculpture wrapped around the handle. Nei always assumed that was it since hers was plain. The blade looked to be a white metal with also looked to be scales going down the pole. The end a spade like ball at the end. The naginata isn't the only weapon Neiyoko uses either. Her prefer weapon is throwing needles and little exploding pellets. The pellets she uses are those she makes from pepper spray and the liquid spray from skunks.

Dislikes:

She doesn't like negativity very much. It triggers her fight or flight since she retain a good portion of animal instincts. Neiyoko, being a tree dwelling animal, doesn't like being underground. She can hadle it to a point but would quickly get steer crazy. Humans aren't high on her like list but aren't high on her dislike either. She understands how they think and why they think that way but it doesn't mean she has to like it. She also doesn't like being called a Raccoon.

Likes:

Being a Red Panda, Neiyoko loves high places. It gives her a way to see everything and observe her surroundings. Exploring is something she does all the time and she will disappear when bored out her mind. Basically anything that would make her gears spin. Puzzles, how electronics work or even just inspecting something she has never seen before.

Capabilities:

Neiyoko is very agile and her sense of balance allows her to do some crazy things while on the move. Running up walls and sometime ceilings if she got to the right speed. Her best ability is climbing and being silent. With the combination of her training and the pads on her feet, she can sneak around with out being detected. Half the time she isn't trying is just simply passing through.

Cons:

One thing that works against her is that she can not afford to get hit. Her body can't take heavy hits and it can only take regular hits to a point before she starts feeling it. Neiyoko is also farsighted which makes close combat difficult if doesn't have her goggles that are her glasses on.
