So hey! Sorry about leaving for at least 2 months now. Lots of stuff on my hands, I think I got more time now but I'm better on Christmas. You are wondering why this is not pony content. Why? Actually I didn't get tired of MLP after what I've seen from season 5 (it was great but some episodes crushed me harder than season 4). I want to do other stuffs, so I looked over to Splatoon. I didn't like much of game, the gameplay, the mechanics (I prefer FPS to be honest). But I have to say, their art style somewhat attracted me or more of fanart piled up by the dozen. I just want to try something new for a change.
Left is Callie and right is Marie. Look them up, they are freaking adorable! Also, expect more squid contents because I have too many sketches that need painting. Not gonna stray from MLP, gonna do something special for that on Christmas.

So here's the process part that few would look. I know their hands look off. I use references very little and result in Marie's hair look kinda weird. At first, I mistook their tentacles for real hair so I had to redo the process and polish it. What was the hardest to do is how you make them appealing. Believe me, their dresses and head gears took forever to do. Shading is still the same, not many changes. Somehow, the words in the middle really kept my view from them. I'm not much of a background expert, it's just simple visual design. I think I really improved myself over sketch phase, it's much faster and better.

I'm really happy about this piece. Good to know even after a long while, I still know what I'm doing. Anyway, if you have any critiques, tips or something, they're all welcomed!
