Currently playing around with new ideas for glass etchings. This is Celestia's cutie mark on a mirror.If the other mirrors are for gazing into Derpy's eyes on a morning, does that mean that this mirror is for gazing upon Celestia's flank?

Awesome etchings 
One thing you can try with photographing the mirrors is taking a decent sized piece of cardboard and spray paint it matte black, then cut a hole through it just wide enough to nestle your camera lens up against and then take the picture through the cardboard, that way you can take a picture of the mirror straight on without getting the double image ghosting. ([link] for an example of using cardboard, but I was lazy and didn't paint mine black first)

I'm currently using chemical etching, but may look into sandblasting at some point soon.

Yeah sandblasting comes out so much nicer! I was using Armor Etch for ages until I finally got a chance to use a sandblaster over at my friend's glassblowing studio, it's like night and day. Only difference is that after you sandblast the piece the vinyl gets REALLY dry and almost impossible to peel back off the glass with your nails, have to use a hobby grade pair of fine point tweezers to get each piece back up.
