That's not even my car, that's my friends car. Pulling the poor cube out of the car and stuffing him back in every time we went out to shoot, or changed locations..... it was an ordeal. Poor cube won't even fit in my car. Just getting him through doorways can be quite trying...Taken when shooting our Portal 2 Music Video

Edit: The cube has been skinned and can now be seen at Cons. Was Debuted at Dragon*Con, and I hope to get some better photos up soon.

Thank you! He did take forever to make. Shortly after this photo, I did skin him and put a ballon around him so I *could* take him to a con, but there were a lot of problems with that, and I still need to fix many of them.

THere's some internal structure in the corners to keep them at the right angles. That's just enough for it to keep it's integrity. I'm actually reworking the insides right now, so hopefully it'll be even more square in the near future.

Aki Con is in Seattle, right? I won't be going if it is, as it's a big undertaking to get my up there.
And yes, you can hug my cube if you are ever in the same place as the same time. I'll probably be bringing him up next Sakura Con, if all goes according to plan.

Yup, it is in Seattle. Bellevue, actually, which is closer to my house. YUSSSSSSS CUUUBBBEEEEEE. I will hunt you DOWN AND FINDIT. XDD My friends and I are actually planning a skit to do at Sakura-con next year, and we get to go all three days!

I can imagine it would be an incredible pain to do, what with all those seams, but there is a kind of fabric you can buy that heat-seals so you can make watertight (and presumably airtight) containers with it. I wonder if you could use that to make an inflatable life-sized cube. (you talked about re-making Cube one day)
Maybe to avoid all the seams you could make an inflatable cube on the inside which the plush part covers?
