WHOO SPARKLY PURPLE GALAXY SHIT YAYYYYI've seen so many great interpretations of what Tali might look like beneath her mask, and I've wanted to make a pic of my own version for quite a while.
Annnd... well... here it is c:
This is pretty much how I imagine Tali. I've always thought of the quarians as some sort of cyborgs with glowy electronic markings. (and I'll probably keep believing that even if it's explicitly denied by Bioware, I just like the idea.)
Also, I totally approve of purple!Tali. I just think it's cool. And cute. Hurr hurr.
This started out as a doodle, but then i kept adding things and eventually I just thought "ahhh what the heck, I'll just finish it then"
I simplified her armor a bit just because I didn't feel like messing around with a bunch of details.
Made in Photoshop CS. Used brushes by ~Sunira for the background.
(Oh and I was a bit uncertain about the veil, so I made a version without it too.)

Very cute! Personally though, I still think Quarians are probably hairless, maybe with a softer version of the Turian head fringe. You definitely matched the face to the voice and personality, nice job.

I wasn't sure whether I should give her hair or not, I definitely think a head fringe could look good, but I chose to go with hair in the end since I like drawing hair, haha.

Casey Hudson was quoted as saying that they really don't know how they're gonna approach Tali's unmasking. It's apparently one of those things about which no one's gonna be happy. I just have to figure she'll be beautiful because even Shepard wouldn't get it on with a girl who has tentacles for a face or something.

Yeah, I read that too. Personally I hope they won't unmask her at all, that would kinda ruin the whole... mystery? At least for me. I pretty much agree about the tentacle thing (though Garrus is a dragon-eagle-lizard thing and still gets his fair share of fan-lovin') but since most of her face looks humanoid enough through the helmet, I don't think she has any facial tentacles lol

Yeah, but the difference here is that Tali's not the MC like Master Chief is to Halo. I'd like to see what's beneath her mask. And for Garrus, there's still a handsomeness about him.

*cough* okay, the color looks solid, very fitting for her. I love her...tattoos/freckles/drawings on her face as well as her eyes. They have to glow!
