I know you guys think I just went and decided to rape Rayman design, but this character has a lot more in it than just him.
Nebula is based on most of my childhood/favorite game/cartoon characters. Just to list a few here:

Snake Rattle 'n Roll
Earthworm Jim
Shatterhand ( My most favorite NES game EVUH! 83 )
Osmosis Jones
Stardrunk ´s Mümüs
And yes, Rayman.

Oh, and he´s not wearing an armor or anything, it´s a hoodie.
