Application form for: .Brine the Reef will be hosting this spectacular tournament. Being the top judge of these games Brine won't be easily impressed by cutesy little parlor tricks. Try your best to win him over with some amazing contest entries!
Because a reef isn't just one creature but a collection of many, Brine refers to himself as "we" or "us". Brine spends most of his time in the ocean watching over many of the other sealife. He's a bit slow on land so he propells himself by using strong jets of water from his feet and back. Brine tends to be very sarcastic in conversation (though it's unintentional). As a friend he's proven to be very reliable and trustworthy, but don't get on his bad side as he loves the thrill of a fight.
Brine has the ability to temporarily absorb colors from objects and convert it into power. The power Brine acquires differs depending on the color he absorbs. Warm based colors (i.e. red, orange, yellow) temporarily boosts his physical strength while cool based colors (i.e. green, blue, purple) gives him a colorful energy blast. Brine cannot absorb anything white, black, or gray. Once he uses the power he absorbed the borrowed colors return to where they originated.

This character is awesome. And I love the little fishys swimming around his head? Do they have names or an important purpose? Just wondering.

we need to try to affiliate more with some bigger groups, sort of bring us more attention. Also, us judges and you need to get together >XD maybe discuss your idea for the group?

Looks interesting, it could be pretty awesome if it is handled better than the #SonicStarz group. I might join in, depends on when it starts and how long it will go on for. :3 Question, do I need to draw a new picture for the application or can I use an old one? I don't mind either way, just wanna make sure.

Glad to see you're interested. I'm actually surprised there aren't more groups out like this. But the main competition will probably kick off at the beginning of February (depending on how many are interested). Until then you can submit up to two 'spectator' characters if you wish. Also, if you want to recycle an old drawing for the app that's fine. It doesn't matter to me, just as long as it's a full bodied and colored picture.

Well, I think it's cos something like this is a big project and needs a lot of work, and most people are too lazy or not creative enough to come up with ideas for it. I really think this template card for the characters is cool, it makes it look organized and very neat.
