Description
Here is my entry for the RIFT Contest.The Death colossus that i created is a humongous Hydra that is always ready to feed on those poor souls who stupidly dare to confront her power and fierceness.

la verdad es que entre menos tiempo me demore haciendo cada ilustración seria lo más apropiado, pero para este dibujo en particular le dedique 3 días completos. Tenia otro diseño ya bocetado para quedar con dos entradas en el concurso pero definitivamente no alcance.

Ouhhh, ¿tres días? eso es mucho tiempo, yo no tendría tanta paciencia x). Es que siempre me ha llamado la atención como coloreas con tanto detalle y me preguntaba cuanto tardas más o menos en colorear un dibujo. Supongo que es relativo y depende del dibujo, pero bueno, me interesa saber los procedimientos técnicos de otros artistas, es bueno saberlo

el ultimo día ya me estaba volviendo loco de no acabarlo pero las ganas de ver al coloso de la muerte participar en el concurso de RIFT junto a los demás competidores me dio los animos que faltaban para terminarlo, de lo contrario a lo mejor y todavía estaria haciendolo, jejeje.
Por lo demás pues si es algo relativo el tiempo que puede llevar hacer una ilustración, algunas pueden llevar una o dos horas, otras un día ó como en el caso de esta pueden prolongarse durante la semana.

thanks a lot Aluisio, i hope i can make it at leat to the 25 semi-finalist. There are a lot of fantastic designs submitted for the contest so i know its going to be really hard.

Thats one detailed pic. Reminds me of the Warhammer/White Dwarf art

I´m a big fan of the confrontation and White Dwarf figurines and artwork so its possible you can tell if there is some influence of those games in the pic. Not so much of warhammer tho, but since Vigil games and THQ are doing a warhammer Dark Millenium game i might be influence by their stuff in the next couple of months.
