Description
Okay, this one is kind of hard to explain. But, basically, this is Lumine's "avatar" as a program/raw DNA-Soul. Think EXE-style Net Navis, except that it's Megaman X and Cyberspace. He's not quite a Cyber-elf, but he's not using a physical body either. That came about as a result of development in an RP with a dear friend of mine, but I really liked the design and used a variation of it for Lumine's "upgrade" while he turned from a villain into... Well, not a good guy, but more of a neutral, benevolent virus. (Long story there too.)

Kinda has the same idea of my interpretation of Lumine.
Except yours is cooler.
I'm not sure what I like about the design. It looks a lot sleeker than his original design, but there's something about this one that's fairly charming and gentle.

Thanks!
I mostly wanted to recapture the serenity he had when he was still "innocent" at the beginning, before his snarling and wide-eyed lunatic behavior and how angry he was at the Hunters.
The design was made sleeker to give Lumine an air of vulnerability as a contrast to how X was armored (both in his physical incarnation and his robed cyberelf form). I gave him flaring sleeves and "boots" to introduce additional subtle curves in the design and suggest a bit more androgyny, and the redesign of his hair from a sharp fan shape into a sloping, wing-like form was more or less to work in an angelic motif.
It was more or less a conscious decision to take him away from a battle model blueprint and emphasize his angelic aspect (a lot of the X8 story does parallel Paradise Lost, with Lumine in a role similar to Lucifer, and not only does Lumine have angel themes, but he also has deliberate androgyny while being modeled on X) as opposed to his alien aspect (the tentacles, the unhuman, pupil-less eyes, and the lack of eyebrows) like the game did.
...I think I let a few teal deers out, sorry!
