Initial D is okay. The storyline's sorta confusing in some parts. I love the way the artist draws the cars dead on amazing detail...but I hate the way he draws the people--tiny eyes and huge lips...it's sorta...well, ugly.

using curve linetool: draw a line, click and drag near the start line, and click and drag near the end line. Remember the way where drawing a line starts and ends...

I used paint for years! I personally loved it until I found out how good other programs are. XD Might I suggest giving oekaki a shot? Takes a while to get used to though.

What's wrong if you draw with MS Paint? I remember one quote by an artist I really admire, and he said (paraphrasing): "It's not the tools that make a truly great art...It's the artist."
Seriously people, adobe/macromedia/painter etc. are so over-rated

Maybe you should check a program called Paint.NET.
It's a lot like MS Paint but in many ways better!
