I know this comment is old but actually did you know...Lunala's Sun entry states that rumor says it evolves from a female Cosmog! ;o and vice versa with Solgaleo and Moon.

Yeah, I know of course. While the Pokedex says they have 'genders', but they aren't actually male/female from the lack of the gender symbols.
I guess you could say Solgaleo and Lunala, are sexually genderless, but like to identity themselves as male/female?

Well technically it has an "unknown" gender so it could be literally anything your headcanon wants it to be.
I personally vote female because it Solgaleo feels like it would be the male one, if anything.

Plus I really need to expand my list of female characters I've drawn, oh my!

I'm pretty sure one of the Lunala cards in the TCG mentions that Lunala is the female evolution of Cosmoem.
