Description I'm still a beginning metalsmith, but I'm very proud of my accomplisment with this piece.

As you can see, it is a pendant. I made both the chain and the pendant, custom fit to one another. The chain is a double-bow-tie design in a 18g silver wire

The pendant is double plated sterling silver about an inch and a half long and a centimetre wide. I used a liver of sulfur patina on the front and sanded it away except in the grooves to enhance the play of lines that highlight the shape of the piece

I believe that I should have used a thicker guage for the chain; such as 12g. It's something to think upon for my next chain project.

Perchance if I learn stone-setting in the near future the leaves will be cupping a stone
