I'll be honest...I have absolutely *no* clue! I really like reptiles in their various forms (snakes especially) but I'm totally baffled by species names unless they're ridiculously simple

sorry, I studied herpetoloy (snakes mainly) for along time and know most snakes mainly by their speices name

and I tend to forget that no one else does

is it a king corba?

No it's not, but it is a cobra! I didn't get a shot of the king cobra, it was hiding in underbrush. This was one of the cobras in a nearby tank, I *think* it's a burrowing cobra..

ahh okay, i went to the washingtion D.C Zoo when i was younger and got to see the corbas ( including the king corba ) made my day
