Description
I finally got around to coloring this drawing, which is supposed to be a representation of how I feel ignored as an individual due to the way in which my mom ignores my age and treats me as a child. Hence, both characters within the drawing are myself.Related content

Yeah, that's there more for reasons of discouraging critique on the theme than for critique on the drawing itself...though Mike has already futilely critiqued the theme anyway.

I can see that on the younger me, but the one on the older me is actually fairly accurate...maybe a bit too thick now that I feel it.
*Note to self: don't put things on "Critique Discouraged;" it only causes people to critique...wait, everyone can read this...this soliloquoy is ruined! Argh!**

"He" isn't inside the other one; they're both representative of personality aspects. The taller one is simply standing in the background to show that me, er-"he" is ignored.
Got it?

but the title clearly states, "inner adult" despite apparent lack of inner.

It's a play on words. Originally one would say that they have an "inner child" to mean that they are actually less mature than they seem. I am using this to show that I am more mature than I am being seen (and, therefore, being treated). Get the metaphor! Make the giant mental leap!

But what if I can't? What if I fail? What will happen to Zion?
