Yes, as the title implies, these are the mainstay space mech and battleship of the hastily-formed Spanish Space Fleet. Both of them possess extremely thick armor and powerful weapons, but are sluggish and anything but versatile. Hence, the future struggle to repel the United States as the preeminent power in space by an alliance of various countries gains little from Spain's support. In fact, sinking a majority of their military resources into the space fleet clears the way for the French to violate its armistice with Spain and conquer the Spanish territory not already under its possession. So, that's the backstory for the mech and starship, which I'm sure none of you needed to know.
