This file is HUGE. >.<Anyway, this is an artpiece I started last night and just kind of brainfarted out onto a digital canvas -- it was probably the first time something like that ever happened to me.
Either way, I finished it up today and this will be a full sized digital artwork that will be entered into my local art show -- wish me luck on winning something, though I'm totally convinced they'll tell me it's 'not art - it's a cartoon' and I'll come dead last... or something OTL
The full size is 29.7cm x 75.66cm - for me and my little laptop doing that at print resolution was hell. HELL >.
I hope... you guys like it? thoughts? Opinions..? Er... I dunno...
As always... done with a Mouse and Photoshop CS5

I really REALLY LOVE this artwork XD The way you used the shines and the background color to paint what you like is truly amazing~!
I really think you can win the competition. But If you don't, atleast have in mind you tried your best and won experience.

Aww thanks hun~ To be honest this was the first time I'd ever just started off with something and continued to add onto it without a plan (usually I have to plan everything >.<). So I'm nervous in the fact that I don't know.. it's not what I normally do and well people around my area don't really see this kind of thing as art.
I mean I went into an art supply store and was told they'd never heard of digital art or art on a computer and that 'I could always TRY to submit something but they only had spots for GOOD artists and that I probably shoudn't get my hopes up'. So.. yeah.... >_>;;; *sigh* OTL

Digital art is still art! And if they haven't heard of it, you'll surprise them and it would be the most unique type of art there! Don't let them get to you :I
