Been looking everywhere for good references on this Batmobile and here you are. I found them a little late though, since I considered my model of the Batmobile done... I'll have to make some adjustments to it.
I uploaded the render earlier today. It's on my gallery if you wanna check it out.

Overkill it? With the Batmobile? I didn't think such a thing could be possible. You can NEVER have too much Batmobile!!
(If there's one modern version that's even cooler than the 1989 one--and that's a high bar to clear--it's this one. It's how the Bat-scallops are integrated into the lines of the car, and the taillights are integrated into the fins, that make it stick out just ahead of its inspiration. Haven't yet reached a verdict on the TNBA model; this one's so iconic it's hard to accept the later one.)
