Yes, it has wings... you can all beat me now.I love myths about fallen angels and the underappreciated angels. Many of the female angels were done away with or considered to be male or hermaphrodites, since the idea of women governing over us all must have frightened some theologists.
This one, I think, is a representation of all of those "lost" female angels.

Oh, just about every goddess that was powerful seemed to change from a beautiful deity, to...well...something like Medusa. Like Athena was beautiful, but she had males aspects to her (hunting, her gender before birth), and became a virgin... I guess so that she never knew what is was to be a woman.

One of the books I have has studies done by some of the old fogies (Dionysis, especially) who argued about the sex of angels being either all male or hermaphrodites. One of the books that has it in there was Angels A to Z. I never studied much into theology, so I wasn't sure. Most of the angels that I did know as male are just now being re-examined and "proved" to be actually female... namely Gabriel.
I am still glad that you like the work however.
