Okay, first off, it's my first time trying my hand with digital painting/airbrushing properly over a photo. There's some rough patches that I can see, but...I'm trying!!
What the picture's about?: It's my homage to Loki Laufeyjarson (or Loki Laufey's son).
Of course, Loki is my favorite figure of all times and I wanted to give him props.

I like how it looks like an old photograph, as if he were an assassin or cat burglar or convict caught some long years ago. An he is this very second planning his escape. Considering this is Loki, he probably had himself captured on purpose because it benefited him in some way.

I love the pose for the image. Loki is very much a good of cunning, and I can just see machinations turn like cogs in a clock in the expression (both facial and physical) of the image.

wow, i love the shadows and your choice of lighting on this. the overall blurry-ness seems to give the pic a very vintage feel...and im loving his expression

Its very good. Though i want to give you some tips, if you would let me..
It is not very obvious where the lighting is coming from, and thus you need some contrast. Always choose a light source before you start painting, it makes things easier.
You also don't have definition, you see how the arms are a bit blurry? If you want to add something more, put some highlights here and there..
The colors are faded, but that may have been your choice. You may want to add a bit of eyecandy
I hope you pursue this further, and that this has helped you a bit.
