Made this a couple months ago but never bothered to submit it. Also, unusually large head.

Robotnik is not Anime at all. Dr. Ivo Robotnik was made by SEGA of America, Eggman on the other hand is SEGA of Japan version.

People pronounce names in different ways. Some of the old Sonic cartoons had his name pronounced differently, for example. Considering the saw part can be pronounced identically, I say yes. That's why some people using it in the first place, I'd guess.
