After some very welcome critiques, I tried to work a little on [link]
This is the second try. (I deleted the first one, because I wasn't too satisfied with it.)

I dodged a bit on the darker side of the face (I hope not too much) and cut it to a single person's portrait, sticking to a 3:2 ratio.
I also used a black border to give a contrast to the overall brightness of the photo.
What do you think?

Edit 2006-07-25: I redit the whole photo and did a finer job on the dodging and left out sharpening the image because the grain that came out was just too bad. I hope you like the result. I moved the original shot to scraps.
