though i can't see any clear similarities to his work. what did you especially remind of his work when you saw mine? this would really interest me!

a few things, really. though it's not really framed like his shots, the solidness of the shadow in much of the shot really reminded me of the way smith preferred to kind of underexpose and exaggerate shadows in his later work. the angle of the shot really reminded me of one of the shots from his photo-essay in japan (though, for the life of me, i can't remember which)
