Hj nice one. Why can't I find any other 3D image in your gallery? Seem you rarely make them or don't want to public.

Hhaha... now I see, but honestly u're nice. It's good indeed for the 1st one. While some guy always admit themself 3D student but 1st work is just flat cube/sphere render. Look forward ur 3D images. BTW, do u model whole model + render? If so, you had to traning 3D sometime before and not so new as you said.

well it was my second "bigger" project.
my first project was a toaster. but it wasnt so good, so I didn't published it yet. and the radio took a long time. the base mesh is really basic with some basic shapes. so nothing really difficult.
The render took a long time, because i've read some tutorials for mental ray, and tried a lot of different options to get the final render.
Now I'm playing around with ZBrush and try to make some nice stuff with it.

thanks.
i've made the dof over a z-deph layer mask render in 3dsmax and then made in photoshop. because you can controll it very well. if you render with dof and it's not so like you want you loose a lot of rendertime
