Light on the left side seems to be quite hard, using a screen to difuse a bit the light would be a good option. On the other hand, the right side needs more depth in shadows, using less light would be nice if the purpose was to create contrast, but if a full light shot was intended, it required more light sources on the right side.

Rarding the model, pose is good, however a little acting on the feelings and sensations both of you are looking for would have helped more to transmit those to the viewer.

Speaking about composition, can't really identify any composition rule or technique on the photo. Removing cables and objects that are not necessary for the image is always a good option, keeping a minimalist style on any shoot directs the eyes to the important things (in this case the model), since putting together many elements requieres highly advanced techniques to dominat.

Overall, photo's concept is good and not very common, however, a review of composition and illumination would be a good idea.
