Intelligent- Rhonwen is one smart doe, and is happy to let you know it. She wants to know everything, and is quick to find those who can help her in this matter. She would even want to visit the other herds someday, but she knows this is not possible and is content (for now) to read up on them as much as she can.
Dedicated to family- Her family, most significantly her sister, is her life. She will do whatever it takes to make them happy and safe. She can be critical at times when they make bad choices, but she is the sort of who find a way to get them out of trouble.
Fiery- If you are looking for a meek, submissive doe… Rhonwen is not for you. If someone attempts to stifle her, she will fight/kick/bite until she can get away, then give them a piece of her mind. She does not tolerate anyone trying to control her.
Independent- Besides her family, she tries her best not to rely on others too much. She feels that if she does, they can and will start taking advantage of her, and she doesn’t want to be put in a bad spot. The trait increases as she ages.
Impatient- She hates being late, and if something makes her late to a performance, there will be words.
Non-traditional- Anything a stag can do, she can do MUCH better, so she says. She’ll challenge stags to races, pushing and pulling contests… she’d even spar, once her horn comes in. She questions that the King and the Lords have the interest of the whole herd in mind… but for now, it is the little subversions that count.
Blunt- She can be polite, but oftentimes chooses not to. She can be harsh and critical of stags and snotty does, but tends to be more easy-going around the common folk.
Unforgiving- She has a very difficult time trusting those who betray her trust, so if she feels as though she has been betrayed, she will either avoid the fawn in question or confront them with what they had done without much regard for politeness.
Flirtatious- Despite her rudeness most of the time, she still likes to be in control. She loves to tease and flirt with the boys… only to dash off to see them some other time. Once mated, she is the type to go from stag to stag, unless she finds someone who will respect her and treat her kindly.
Cuddly and Loving- to the right stag (or doe!), she would give a part of her heart to them and entrust them to keep it for life. She also loves the cuddles and affection!

Appearance:
She keeps her body in excellent condition, since being a dancer involves a lot of fast movements and working with the body for long periods of time. Her legs are slender, her quarters powerful and muscular… she’s a doe would could beat you in a mile race any day of the week. She carries herself proudly, and is not afraid to show off her body when she gets the chance.
Her face is delicate, with a small nose and large, alert ears. Her eyes have fire in them, and are big and full of expression. Her head is mostly straight, without being concave or convex.
She has a single horn, medium length and like a unicorn’s (straight, with some twist, and a single point).
Her mane and tail are both thick and a little unruly, so she keeps them brushed and pulled back with little sectionss of plant fiber. She wears white and cream colored flowers in her hair at all times, in honor of the her twin sister so they ‘match’.
Her body coat gets thick and a little puffy during the winter, but sheds out to be sleek in the spring and summer. She keeps it well groomed, and bathes frequently in the streams. Her coloration ranges from a coppery red to dull sienna, depending on the season.

History:

Sulwen and Gerwin, two fawnlings madly in love with each other, had formed a business together making mead and keeping bees for honey. They met later in life and had a difficult time conceiving. Despite that, their business was booming in the Kingdom and they lived comfortably. When Sulwen was 15 years old, she discovered that she was pregnant. Gerwin protected his love all throughout the pregnancy, fearing that once again they would end up losing a child by a bad string of fate or miscarriage. Sulwen, however, felt something at peace within her, and reassured her husband that all would be well.

In the spring, she gave birth to healthy twin girls, none worse for wear herself. Gerwin and Sulwen were proud of their twin daughters, not a blemish or fault on them.

-fawnhood-
Gerwin and Sulwen raised their daughters within the business, teaching them about growing flowers to attract bees, and how to extract honey from the comb, and how to ferment mead, and how to make a deal with even the most fickle of Servants of the Royals. Rhonwen and her sister thrived on this knowledge and attention from their parents, and the family was close knit and happy. They played amongst commoner fawns and roamed the crowds of the Oldegrove from the time they could take wobbly steps.

Rhonwen was confident and the type to test her own body’s limits, running up rocky cliffs and chasing around baby stags just to see how long it would take for them to tire. Her father and mother did not punish her for behaving boldly and bravely; after all, it would take mettle and courage to run a shop some day!

-adulthood-
Their parents reaching the age of retirement, Rhonwen and Melwyn were offered to continue the storefront her parents worked so hard to maintain. They agreed, and have been making and selling mead and entertaining the Royalty of Glenmore ever since. They run the business 50/50, both holding responsibilities like making the mead and organizing performance gigs.

Rhonwen continues to practice her magic and gaining physical strength and stamina, to further their business in both forms. She spends a fair amount of her time researching other lands, and wonders how their magic could be used to entertain others… or to gain power. As the rest of Glenmore transitions from one King to the next, Rhonwen feared for her own safety and that of her sister, with the crackdown on dissident behavior very cleared stated by King Rafe once crowned. For this reason, she tends to hold her tongue moreso these days, especially when there are Lords nearby.

She enters the Harem of Lord Prendergast II (Praxis) during her 8th year, at first as a strategic move to find safety in the herd after being called out for her loud and unruly behavior and being chased and injured during rut… but it becomes love and mutual respect. For now, she’s found herself a companion who respects her and is intelligent enough to talk about current events… so she is content.
