I felt trolled beyond compare, especially since it was actually foreshaded if you think about. But I loved it, I can't wait for next season. I want to watch more Gainax series now.

Yeah, that and considering demons are fallen angels and other bits of forshadowing, but come on, up till the moment she said THOSE words I thought it was some kind of joke from her, but then the "OMGWTFBBQ" factor topped the rest of the episode completely.
Still, the reactions from fans are just hilarious. Gainax sure knows how to troll.
