Description
Another assignment from my Principles of Visual Communication class. I'm gonna miss that class. :'CThe idea was to choose a theme from a list provided and then use 3 different compositional designs. (i.e. grouping, contrast, etc.)
I chose the word "Demons"--Mr. T ran a close second--and I came up with this. I think the hard part was choosing how to compose the piece, but I'm proud of this one. Mostly the top one.

This seriously looks freakin' professional. I love how you carried the theme over (which is kinda what you were supposed to do anyway XD)and how you designed each character. This is great stuff.

That is ridiculously awesome. You really conveyed speed/travel motion in the first frame, and the kid is just adorable! <3
The bottom part is interesting because of the slant, but also the contrast between "dark" and "light". The small demon is also sorta cute, too. :]
ps: what would you have done for "Mr. T"?

Awwww, thanks. I had lots of fun with this despite doing it last minute. Which is also the reason I coudldn't do Mr. T... I couldn't come up with ideas for him. I would have LOVED to make him the subject, though!

In my mind, I connect "Mr. T" with Mr. J, or Mr. Kite (lol). But yeah, maybe in your spare time you can doodle something up, because I am really curious.

I like the old style contrast and backgrounding.
I also like the contrasting between the two panels story. The top seeming one more of mischief and plotting. The bottom one spoke more to me story wise .. seeming sadder .. more emotional ..
