A 'what if?' look at the M7 Medium Tank with Culin hedgerow cutters if they had been sent to Europe at the Normandy invasion. The 'hedge-breaching device' was made out of Czech hedgehog tank obstacles on the beaches to restore mobility to armored units and prevent bottlenecking of American forces into German ambushes. Tanks fitted with these devices were called Rhino tanks.Related content
