Really nice tutorial. I am trying this with GIMP and a mouse. Ouch my hand but not bad. The colors in GIMP aren't as brilliant as Photoshop for some reason.

I love the way you colour, as his the way you explain, everything seems simple, but not easy. I don't know If I am clear...
You make it look simple, but it's clear that a lot of work is needed on the details and all!
Let's say it rocks!

Definitely! And I really like the brushes you have on the first part, I just used them a little, but they seem like they give things a really nice look ^^

also took a peek at your gallery, that truck rendering is seriously awesome. Vehicles never turn out for me, even with piles of reference

CS, but I use the most basic of features. You dont have to go and upgrade.

Yeah, I'm using CS2 on Tiger, heard CS3 works best on Leopard, so there's no need to upgrade as long as I am stuck on Tiger.

yeah!
now I've got the full concept of it... Now I just have to practice and then... WORLD DOMINATION!!!!
Thanx for these job (it's great). Most of us can learn too much just seeing the results of it, but if you take the care of EXPLANING it... well, thats morethan we can ask for.
thanks because I was waiting for it. I'm traying to aply your concepts plus a little color theory to my "ilustrations" (if you can call them that way). Of course they are not as well as yours, but they get better and better, so, i guess one day i'll draw something that i (and you) like. Sure.
