Description
Even a single Centurion is but the fingertip of the outstretched hand of Rome. I am Rome, and I am Imperial.Had some time to kill today and thought I'd mess about with some of the items I haven't given as much attention as I'd like. Hope you find it pleasing to your senses

I love the roman theme, the darkness of the render adds to the atmosphere in my opinion, I have a bit of a passion for dark renders , now how about some nice gladiators battling it out to the death, I'm sure Brian McCullough can be persuaded to grow his hair and get aggressive ..........*sigh*

The only incentive I will give is a whispered "please"

My goodness if I had only known the power of a whispered please I would have used it more often ......

Now you're being naughty..........it's not up to you to choose the appropriate moment so for being impertinent enough to suggest now was a good time there will be no whispered "please" today

Very dramatic lighting and great textures. I particularly like how the textures turned out on the centurion.
One feature in Poser Pro 2014 you might like is the progressive render - lets you get a sense of a scene right away. (At least I think it's new in that version.)

yah I was noticing that When I was moving objects, the shadows were already there and I could tell how the lighting would affect things as I moved them
Extremely cool

That may be the improved preview. Check your render settings, I believe there is a "progressive" mode flag (I don't have access to mine right now). You can also open a new kind of window that does a sort of thumbnail render. It can give a useful "render" in 5-10 seconds every time you change an option. Though in "auto" mode it can slow things down while you're setting things up. Some nice features - but.... let me know if you'd also like to hear me go on about the "known" bugs in PP2014 as well (mostly related to animation - so maybe not a problem for you).

Thanks I'm still finding my feet with it, but that gives me a good direction to explore

I've just seen the thumbnail and it instantly reminds me of a composition of Jacques Louis David. A very high impact pic, and very much to my liking

I'm astounded you consider it reminiscent of such esteemed art. Once again, I was just messing around, but I'm honored you found a memory of something far better sparked within it
(about the same reason why was here at 11pm dozing off in my chair)

Many thanks
Was working a couple parties at my arcade and there was a two hour gap between them (we're normally closed today…these were full 'rent the whole place' events) so I brought my computer with me. Kept the subject matter render-safe, so not my usual, but was fun to experiment with things. Was also the first serious render I did with Poser Pro 2014 since installing it. Really digging the little features here and there. Like the dynamic preview of shadows. Move an object and it casts a faint shadow so you how the lighting will react to your object placement. Used to be the long wait until the render to find out just how things were going to look. I'm diggin' it
