Great set up for this new character John, Shadow may have to keep an eye on him to make sure he isn't trying to muscle in on his business. Now if he were to express an interest in the capture instead of saving I am sure that Shadow would be more than happy to set him up with a job.

Shadow could always use a hero to match wits with for the heroines of Racks view. Great idea for introducing a male character that could be very useful to have around.

Well he may not have super powers but from the way you discribe him he still has skills that would come in handy, The Punisher, Batman, Nightwing and Iron man don't have special powers either just really cool toys!
