The Redwall series- especially the book Martin The Warrior- were my favorite as a kid. So as an experiment in style and because the characters won't leave my head all these years later, I decided to take another pass at some of them
Here's Martin- brave warrior mouse, and eventual founding hero of Redwall abbey.

I love Martin here. I've always had a hard time visualizing a mouse as a warrior (I always imagine them as a little fat and round), despite all the awesome stuff he (and others) did in the book, but I can see it here quite clearly. Lovely!

MY CHILDHOOD!!! I never thought I'd see any Redwall fanart on here, but lo and behold a gem has been found this day! Thank you for helping me to relive my middle school days I spent buried in these adventures, fighting off ferrets and stoats alongside otters, hares and the impressive Badger Lords of Salamandastron.
