“Did you hear that?” Elsa asked, nervously.

Anna looked up from her stuffed dragon. “Hear what?”

“I thought I heard the curtain move,” replied her older sister, shaking her head. “But the window isn’t open.”

“Maybe it was a ghost,” Anna offered, carelessly. “Kai always tells me about all the ghosts around the castle!”

Elsa shuddered. “Don’t say things like that Anna!”

The younger princess placed her hands on her hips, confidently. “Aw, I’m not scared of no ghost! And besides, you could scare ‘em away with your magic!”

Elsa tried very hard to look cross, but it was a vain attempt, and a chuckle escaped her lips. It was always good to have someone as brave as Anna around.

Playtime came and went, and Elsa’s favourite stuffed knight had gallantly defeated the dragon, bringing the whole, curious escapade to an end. But the first day of summer had barely reached the early afternoon, and Anna was raring to go outside while there was still light out.

As the pair of siblings happily gathered their toys, princess Elsa turned to face the curtain.

Nothing.

She ran out of the room and down the hallway, as little Anna called for her older sister to keep up.
